Italian police investigating migrant shipwreck deaths arrest man

A Somali man who allegedly organised a ship crossing of migrants from northern Africa to Europe that ended in a shipwreck killing more than 365 people has been arrested by police in Sicily.
The boat packed with more than 500 migrants, mostly Eritreans, capsized on October 3 near the small island of Lampedusa, resulting in one of the highest verified death tolls among migrant ship disasters in the Mediterranean.
