High-vis jackets help chickens cross the road

Special high-vis jackets have been created to help chickens cross the road.

The new High-Vis Chicken Jacket garments have been produced by a company called Omlet and will set bird owners back £12 each if they are keen to help protect their animals.

Johannes Paul, Director of Omlet, said: "We had people inquiring about this kind of thing so decided to look into it.

"Most people who have chickens as pets will have them out and about and we do hear about chickens who do cross the road."
