Mourners honour request for fancy-dress funeral

Several mourners turned up to a funeral in fancy dress at their deceased friend's request.

Before Gary Pattison passed away he made a number of suggestions for mourners to put into practice at his funeral and his friends did him proud by turning up to remember him dressed as Super Mario, Fred Flintstone and a 'Star Wars' stormtrooper, The Sentinel newspaper reports.
