A 6.5-magnitude earthquake shook Guatemala’s Pacific coastline, causing some homes to collapse in a town near the epicentre. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the epicentre was three miles south of the small town of Pajapita, near the border with Mexico. It had a depth of 41 miles.
