Blast hits Yemeni military bus

Yemeni security officials say a blast has struck a bus carrying air force personnel in a main street in the capital, causing casualties.

They say at least 20 people were wounded or killed in the explosion today in Sanaa. It was not clear how people many were on board.

Bodies and blood could be seen on the pavement next to the remnants of the bus.

Yemen’s government is fighting militants linked to al Qaida, who regularly target the country’s military.
