Nightclub told: You're too loud for the fish

A nightclub has been told to turn its music down because the banging tunes are too loud for the venue's pet fish.

The Swedish night spot in Gothenburg was found to be playing music at 100 decibels, but according to the relevant regulations, music cannot be played at more than 65 decibels for long periods of time if the club houses any pets.

However, according to The Dagens Nyheter newspaper, the club's owner insists the recordings were not accurate.

Despite his protestations, the County Administrative Board insists the night spot must tone down its tunes or re-house its fish.
