Woman with 80 bridesmaids 'didn't want to exclude anyone'

A British dance teacher had 80 bridesmaids on her wedding day.

Katie Dalby insisted none of her pupils at Boogie Shoes Dance Academy in Essex, south east England, would miss out on celebrating her big day so she invited 74 of them to take up the privileged position behind her in the church.

All 80 bridesmaids, the other six made up of family and friends, were dressed in pink to see her tie the knot to fireman Norman Gooch.

She is quoted by MailOnline as saying: "The children were all very excited when I told them I was getting married - some of them had been asking me for more than a year.

"It just couldn't have been fair to choose two or three of them so the only solution was to invite 74 of them - I didn't want to exclude anyone."
