Mother and partner jailed for life after starving and beating four-year-old

In the UK a mother and her partner will both serve a minimum of 30 years behind bars for murdering a four-year-old, who was starved and beaten at his home in Coventry.

The judge described the scale of Daniel Pelka's suffering at the hands of Magdalena Luczak and Mariusz Krezolek as "truly horrific".
