Footballer gets own name tattooed on face

A professional soccer player has had his own name tattooed on his face.

Former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger – who was charged with rape last month - got the inking of his surname done on the side of his face and appeared to be pleased with the design.

In a post on Instagram, he wrote: "My name RINGS BELLS #POWERFUL #RANGER #INKKING (sic)"

It's not the 22-year-old player's first unusual inking as he also has a smiley face tattooed on the inside of his bottom lip.
