Biden not yet sure about 2016 presidential election
US vice president Joe Biden has opened up about a possible third presidential run in 2016.
In an interview with GQ magazine, the former senator, who has run for president twice before, said the first judgment he will make about whether to seek the Democratic nomination is to determine whether he has the energy for it.
Secondly, the 70-year-old said he will ask himself whether he is the best person for the job.
Mr Biden is seen as a possible contender to succeed President Barack Obama, as is former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. Democratic insiders say Mrs Clinton would start out as the heavy favourite if she entered the race.
Mr Biden said he can die a âhappy manâ without ever becoming president, but said that does not mean he will not run.
