Snowden accepts asylum in Venezuela

Whistleblower Edward Snowden has accepted Venezuela’s offer of political asylum, according to the head of the Russian parliament’s foreign affairs committee.

Alexei Pushkov has acted as an unofficial spokesman for the Kremlin on the Snowden affair.
