US issues blanket notice to block whistleblower Snowden from international travel

The US have issued a blanket notice to countries to stop whistleblower Edward Snowden from travelling internationally.

It is understood the former US intelligence analyst - who has been charged with espionage - is en route to Ecuador after the government there received a request for asylum.
