"I don't need a licence - I stole my TV"

A British-based man thought he didn't need a TV license because he stole his TV set.

The bizarre excuse is one of hundreds published by TV Licensing after scores of people were caught without a TV license – which costs £145.50 for a colour version, while a black-and-white licence is £49 - last year.
