Philip continues surgery recovery

There was no further bulletin from Buckingham Palace on the progress of the Duke of Edinburgh today as he recovers in hospital following exploratory abdominal surgery.

Philip was visited by royal doctor Professor John Cunningham this morning, according to reports – though the palace would not confirm his attendance.
