Mother snitches on son for stealing her Pop-Tarts

A US woman got her son arrested for stealing her breakfast.

A mother allegedly called police to get her Pop-Tarts – pre-baked toaster pastries – back after accusing her own son, whose name and age is not known, of taking them, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report.

The youngster was reportedly charged with larceny/misdemeanour for the offence.

The mum's neighbour, Fred Patrick, told the Charlotte Observer newspaper: "He seems real nice to me. I mean, he is real respectful."
