Man shoots himself at Paris school

A man has died by suicide at a private Catholic school in central Paris by shooting himself in the head, police say.

The shooting took place shortly before noon as children were leaving the school premises for the lunch break. A dozen children witnessed the shooting, Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe’s office said in a statement.
