Workers at a bank in India were shocked when they discovered termites have eaten €140,000 worth of cash.

The irritating insects munched through 10 million rupees of currency notes stored in a steel chest at a bank in Barabanki, northern India, where termites have caused several issues in the country by damaging documents and eating equipment at banks in India.
