Creme Egg cocktail contains 987 calories

A Cadbury Crème Egg cocktail has been created containing 987 calories.

The 'Creme Egg Mojito' – which features the same amount of calories as a cheeseburger with fries and a coke – is priced at £8.50 from Jewel Bar in London's Piccadilly Circus and is made up of rum and chocolate liqueur complete with half of a Crème Egg, a mint sprig and sugar syrup.

Mixologist Jack Williams told MailOnline: "To make it, just bruise a mint sprig and put it in the bottom of the glass with the rum and chocolate liqueur.

"Then add the sugar syrup and lime juice to the mix, add some crushed ice and smashed-up chocolate egg and stir it all together.

"Finally, top with a little more crushed ice, a dash of soda on top and serve with a half of the Creme Egg."
