Man's body found in deep snow in the UK

A man has been found dead in deep snow after walking home last night in severe weather, police said.

The body of the 27-year-old, who has not been named, was found by a farmer in Shay Lane, Brierfield, near Burnley, Lancs, at around 1.30pm today.
