Protester shot dead amid fresh violence in Cairo

A protester has been shot dead in central Cairo during fresh clashes with Egypt's police forces, as violence continues to spread across the country.

The headquarters of the Egyptian football federation and a nearby police station have been set alight by fans, after a court cleared 7 police officers over their alleged involvement in deadly riots in Port Said.
