Crocs stage great escape

Around 15,000 crocodiles have escaped from a farm in South Africa.
The reptiles are on the loose in Limpopo after they broke free from the Rakwena crocodile farm when owners had to open the gates to prevent a storm surge following serious floods in the area.
A number of the crocodiles have been recaptured – one was found 120km away on a rugby pitch – but many of the dangerous animals still remain on the loose.
Farmer owner Johan Boshoff told the Beeld newpaper: "We've been recapturing them as and when the local farmers phone us to tell us there are crocodiles on their property."
