That'll warm yer up - elephants cheat death with vodka trick

Two frostbitten elephants have escaped death after downing 10 litres of vodka to warm them up.

The pair of circus beasts nearly died of frostbite after being evacuated into the Siberian forest when the trailer they were in caught fire - but fortunately their quick-thinking trainer Leonid Labo gave them 10 litres of vodka mixed with water.
