Senior Syrian troops flee to Turkey

A group of Syrian soldiers including two generals and 11 colonels have fled to Turkey, according to Turkey’s state-run news agency.

The group of 71 people, including troops and their families, arrived in the Turkish border province of Hatay seeking refuge, the Anadolu Agency said.
