Berlusconi describes jail sentence as 'intolerable judicial harassment'
Italy's Former Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has described his four year jail sentence for tax fraud as 'intolerable judicial harassment'.
It is the first time he has been convicted despite facing a number of trials over his business affairs.
He has also been barred from holding political office for five years.
But Damian Tambini, an author on Italian politics, said that the 76-year-old will probably appeal - and is unlikely to spend any time behind bars:
