Weather hampering search for April Jones

British schoolgirl April Jones remained missing today despite a third night of extensive police searches and a desperate plea from the five-year-old’s distraught mother.

The mayor of the Machynlleth, Gareth Jones, said the bad weather in Wales was hampering the search efforts, which are said to be focusing on six village in the area.
