Jamaica’s prime minister has described remarks by Zimbabwe’s leader disparaging the Caribbean island’s men were “grossly unfortunate, misguided and untrue”.

Portia Simpson Miller issued her statement more than a week after President Robert Mugabe painted Jamaican men as chronic drunkards and unambitious pot smokers during a speech.
