Rebels 'shoot down helicopter' in Damascus

Syrian state television says a helicopter has been downed in Damascus.

Rebels claim the helicopter was bombarding the neighbourhood of Jobar before they shot it down.

There has been intense fighting between rebels and pro-Assad troops in some suburbs of the Syrian capital.

Yesterday activists said they had discovered more than 200 bodies in Daraya following what they called "a massacre" by Government forces.
