Chilean miners plan souvenir mugs
The rescued Chilean miners are to release a range of souvenir mugs.
The group of 33 - who famously survived 69 days trapped 700 metres underground in a mine in 2010 - are also planning to launch other merchandise, including T-shirts, sweatshirts and medals bearing the brand, 'The Miracle 33', which they have registered.
Jose Ojeda – one of the group's members - told Chilean newspaper El Mercurio: "We'll make all kinds of products like mugs, sweatshirts, T-shirts and medals, so that tourists remember us."
The Chilean miners hit the headlines after the miraculous rescue and a movie written about their 69 days underground is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
