Suu Kyi at parliament as politician

Aung San Suu Kyi attended Burma’s parliament today for the first time as an elected politician.

The 67-year-old opposition leader took the oath of office in May after winning a historic by-election a month earlier, but the swearing-in ceremony took place only as the last legislative session ended.
