Man divorces woman after three days of marriage

A man from the United Arab Emirates has divorced his bride after three days of marriage.

According to newspaper reports, the 20-year-old woman claims her husband rang her up and divorced her over the phone but she has no idea why he wanted to end their marriage so quickly, Emirat Alyoum Arabic language daily reports.

As a result of the man's actions, the woman has filed a lawsuit, which states: "She told the judge that three days after marriage, her husband left her at night and spent his night at his relatives’ house in another emirate.

“On the next day, he divorced her by phone without telling her the reason apart from saying that he does not want to be unfair to her.”
