Turkey sends arms to Syrian border

Turkey is deploying anti-aircraft weapons along the Syrian border, state television said today, days after a Turkish military jet was shot down by Syrian forces.

Several anti-aircraft guns have been positioned the border, TRT television said.

Turkey has warned Damascus that it will not tolerate any violation of the border by Syrian forces.

The private Dogan news agency showed footage of a military convoy, including one multiple rocket launcher, heading toward the Syrian border.
