Obama discusses Eurozone crisis with Merkel and Monti
The US President has spoken to the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti on how to fix the Eurozone crisis.
Barack Obama held the conference call on Air Force One this afternoon on the need to strengthen resilience and growth in the Eurozone.
The call came as pressure mounts on EU leaders to avoid a bailout of Spain - while Greece readies for elections that risk leading to the collapse of its bailout - and its withdrawal from the euro.
