Dull and Boring plan exciting link-up

Officials in the Oregon town of Boring, are voting on whether to link up with a village in Scotland called Dull.

The proposal has caused excitement among Dull residents, who have been largely positive about the idea of developing an association.

Boring was named after William H Boring, an early resident of the area.

Dull is believed to have been named for the Pictish word for field.
