MPs ask watchdog to examine claims of falsity

In Britain - MPs have formally asked the House of Commons standards watchdog to examine claims that three former News International executives have lied to MPs examining the phone-hacking scandal.

Colin Myler, the former editor of the News of the World, former legal manager Tom Crone and former Chairman Les Hinton were accused of misleading a parliamentary committee.
