Man mistaken as One Direction member

One Direction fans in New Zealand have accidentally mobbed a man in the street, mistaking him for a member of the boy band.

The fanatic supporters of the 'What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers chased 23-year-old radio producer Guy Parsons down the street after he left a hotel, where he had been interviewing the stars.

Despite insisting he wasn't part of the group, Guy - who was wearing a scarf and sunglasses - posed for photos with fans who didn't believe him.

He told the Sunday Star Times: "I don't think I could do that every day, but for the three minutes I was posing and running away from the girls I liked the attention."
