UK mother sentenced after leaving children alone in squalor during night out

A mother in England has admitted leaving her young children alone in squalor as she went for a night out.

Hull Crown Court today confirmed Laura Palmer was given a suspended prison sentence after she pleaded guilty to child cruelty last week.
