Sidecar hearse 'perfect for deceased bikers'

A German motorcyclist wants to start a funeral service tailored for Harley Davidson fanatics.

Joerg Grossmann has created a prototype sidecar hearse that he thinks would be ideal for deceased bike lovers to be transported to their funeral in.

The 48-year-old man is aiming to have a fleet of 10 – with each one costing around £50,000 - ready by the end of 2012 and he is hoping to attract around 1,000 bookings each year in Germany.

He said: "It's something special."
