Sarkozy launches investigation into gunman

An investigation is under way to see if the radical Islamic gunman suspected of killing seven French people had any accomplices, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said today.

He said that anyone who regularly visits “websites which support terrorism or call for hate or violence will be punished by the law”.
