Photographer launches macabre death row show
A photographer has put together a number of images re-creating criminals' death row meals from a prisoner's own point of view.
Henry Hargreaves took the pictures of plates containing a selection of inmates last ever meals - for which they are allowed to request anything they like - before being killed for crimes they committed.
Some of the meals Henry captured include Victor Feguer's single unpitted olive - believed to be a sign of re-birth - sitting on a plate.
He requested the foodstuff as his final bit of grub before being killed in 1963 and is thought to have been buried with the olive stone in his pocket.
Ronnie Lee Gardner was even allowed to watch the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy as he ate his last meal of lobster tail, steak, apple pie and vanilla ice cream before he was killed by firing squad in Utah.
