Man attempts to open bank account with Jack Nicholson picture

A Brazilian man has attempted to open a bank account by using a fake ID featuring a picture of Jack Nicholson.

Ricardo Sergio Freire de Barros – who is said to bare "no resemblance" to the actor - came unstuck when he used the famous Hollywood star's picture on the identification.

He was arrested after he attempted to open the account when bank staff recognised who was in the picture.

Brazilian police explained: "There is no resemblance between the suspect and actor."

Ricardo denies the charge of using fake documents.
