Woman to marry a partially demolished warehouse
A woman is planning to marry a 107-year-old warehouse.
Babylonia Aivaz wants to tie the knot with the partially demolished building in a gay marriage ceremony in Seattle, US, in a protest against its destruction.
She said: "If corporations can have the rights as people, so can buildings.
"I’m doing this to show the building how much I love it, how much I love community space and how much I love this neighborhood. And I want to stop it from gentrification."
Public are encouraged to attend the wedding and bring food, despite demolition work already beginning on the bride-to-be.
