Norway apologises for role in Holocaust

Norway has apologised for the arrest and deportation of Jews during the Second World War.

Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg says it is time the nation acknowledges that politicians and other Norwegians took part and expresses “our deep regrets that this could have happened on Norwegian soil”.
