Estranged wife tells 'Star Trek' fan to dismantle £100,000 replica
A British 'Star Trek' fan who spent £100,000 (€119,126) turning his house into a replica Starship Enterprise is having to rip it out.
Tony Alleyne said he was "gutted" after being told by his wife Georgia - the pair are divorcing - to get rid of the flight deck and computer console, which even contains flashing lights, because she wants to sell up.
He told The Sun newspaper: "To say I'm gutted is an understatement. It is my life's work - and it looks like it's going into a skip. I admit there were tears."
But Mrs. Alleyne, who owns the home and has paid the mortgage since they split, wants to sell it as a "conventional property".
