Two die in Somali camp blast

Two Somalis have been killed when an improvised bomb went off in a refugee camp shortly after a visit by foreign journalists accompanied by UN officials.

Yasmin Ali, the camp organiser, said one refugee and one Somali soldier were killed.

Journalists from international organisations like The Associated Press, AFP, BBC and the Spanish newspaper El Pais were on the one-day trip to Mogadishu, which came six months after the UN declared famine in Somalia.

The blast happened about 20 minutes after the journalists left the camp.
