Cyprus: Protesters clash with police

Two people were arrested after several dozen stone-throwing protesters clashed with police outside a British military base in Cyprus.

Connie Pierce, spokeswoman at the base, said four policemen and one television journalist suffered minor injuries during the scuffles outside the Royal Air Force base at Akrotiri, west of the southern coastal resort of Limassol, yesterday.
