Road to nowhere for British pensioner

A pensioner has spent two days and nights driving on a motorway after getting lost.

Dennis Leighton became confused about his route as he drove on Britain's M25 on the way to his daughter's house.

The family raised the alarm when the 82-year-old man did not reach his destination and he was found in his Vauxhall Estate car, The Sun newspaper reports.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman explained: "He got a little bit lost but was found safe and well in the early hours of the morning."
