Virginia Tech gunman found dead after killing police officer

The gunman who killed a police officer in a Virginia Tech University car park last night has been found dead nearby.

Yesterday's attack sent fear through the campus nearly five years after it was the scene of the deadliest series of shootings in modern US history.
