Explosions have killed six people in Iraq, including a father and son who were assembling a makeshift bomb that accidentally detonated inside their home, officials said.

The pair were killed today in the northern city of Kirkuk. Police spokesman Anwar Qadir said the man’s wife, daughter and another child were injured in the blast, which damaged their home.
