Iran frees Embassy attack students

Iran has released 11 hardline students held for storming the British Embassy and diplomatic compounds in Tehran.

The semi-official Fars news agency said police released the students a day after they ransacked the embassy and British diplomatic compounds.

There was no immediate explanation for the students' release.

Under Iranian law, damaging property carries a prison term of up to three years.
