Marmite spill causes mammoth motorway mess

A mammoth clean-up operation was launched in the UK after more than 20 tonnes of Marmite spilled on to a motorway.

Vast quantities of the yeast-based spread were catapulted on to the M1 in south Yorkshire when a tanker carrying tubs of the condiment collided with a motorcaravan.
